Billy Florence: Success is a Process
"Success really is a process! I believe that Fred Harteis has proven himself as successful in many areas! Read and learn from what Fred Harteis says about success." - Billy Florence, Team DCI
by Fred Harteis
Everyday we have a very valuable portion of our life, to make of it what we want. We choose to be grateful or not. We alone choose to be happy or not. We all face struggles for a reason to learn to grow to overcome and be victorious or complain and claim victim status. First we must accept responsibility for our own happiness. It’s a choice, even in times of great disappointment and struggle, that’s life. I recently read that one of every three small businesses will face a lawsuit this year. Most are frivolous simply because many people refuse to accept responsibility and the blame someone else or someone’s business for their failure or disappointment. President Bush has my support in dealing with this issue. Vast sums of money wasted and millions of hours are in clogging the court systems unnecessarily.
We have faced many disappointments but we refuse to be discouraged. Disappointments are a reality of life. Discouragement we have control over if we live by faith and action and seek good council from our mentors, and above all accept responsibility in our every endeavor. We have the freedom to grow through problem solving, which I see as a great blessing in life. Don’t sit on a problem and don’t complain about a problem. Solve it and your confidence will grow and the next problem will seem smaller.
“We have staked the whole future of American Civilization, not upon the power of government, far from it. We have staked the future of all of our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government; ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments.” - James Madison
