“Home,” said the sage;
“Fame,” said the soldier;
“Equity,” said the seer.
Spake my heart full sadly;
“The answer is not here”;
Then, within my bosom,
Softly, this I heard:
"Each heart holds the secret—
Kindness is the word.”
